During 14 hours, or 840 minutes, I create a block of time — a handful of time. Since the perception of time varies for each individual,
I ask: how much is your time?
The work begins by recording the time taken to form each block in a journal. The journal consists of start, pause, and end times, along with the total duration, brief notes, and drawings, granting specificity to the otherwise ordinary passage of time.
Within 14 hours, I produce one block and a series of by-products such as drawings, writings, or books.
Neither the blocks nor the by-products carry inherent meaning; they emerge through spontaneity, embodying a chain of inevitability and possibility. The materials are carefully selected to emphasize spontaneity and to avoid any narrative, just like the forms themselves.
Thus, the block, its by-products, and the journal collectively visualize time. My work serves as an equivalent to 14 hours — a visual translation of time itself.
The packaging conveys a refined balance of professionalism and natural comfort, creating a trustworthy and approachable brand presence.
